Title: Alexander Gould's Showtime series to debut this weekend
Post by: Midnite on August 06, 2005, 05:29:08 PM
Alexander Gould (David Collins in the 2004 pilot, sigh) has a part in the Showtime series "Weeds" that will debut Sunday on Showtime.  Yesterday's LA Times wrote that the series is about "a pot-dealing widow in the suburbs."  The print edition included a photo of Gould with star Mary-Louise Parker, and said:

[Parker's] Nancy has to keep pace with her 15-year-old son, Silas (Hunter Parrish), and her 8-year-old, Shane (Alexander Gould), both of whom share a fascination with a certain Wilderness Channel show called "Bear Hunt."

Thanks for this scoop Midnite.  Alas, Showtime is not on my TV choice of things.  They usually release on DVD at some point so I'll wait until then.

Title: Martin Donovan on Showtime's "Weeds"
Post by: Midnite on October 10, 2005, 04:35:02 PM
The hardworking Martin Donovan joined Gould on "Weeds" this season as a [sorta] recurring character-- a single father who flirts with mom/dealer Nancy (Mary Louise Parker).  And his role is prominent in tonite's season finale.

"Weeds" airs on Showtime on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 10 p.m. ET/PT.  Check your local listings, etc.  Check it out!-- it's very addictive.   [hall2_rolleyes]

Donovan was Roger in the WB pilot.  Gould played David.
