Title: Microsoft's CSS Plans for IE 7 Draw Cheers, Jeers
Post by: Mysterious Benefactor on August 02, 2005, 08:24:11 PM
Gee, what a shock.  ::)  (sorry IE users):

Microsoft goes public with what it expects to deliver in its IE 7 browser. The compatibility stance draws the ire of some developers. Check out the details here (http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,1895,1842563,00.asp?kc=ewnws080205dtx1k0000599).

Here's a follow-up article: Skipping CSS2 in IE7 Is Wrong (http://www.publish.com/article2/0,1895,1842891,00.asp)

Quite frankly, I wouldn't put theory #2 past Microsoft - not by a long shot. They've admitted as much in far too many other situations.  >:(  And I definitely agree with Sean Carton's sentiment: "Wake up, Microsoft" - fast!!
