Title: Frid
Post by: Tanis on April 05, 2002, 06:13:04 PM
Today's show, April 5, Jonathan Frid's Shakesperean backround really came through in his acting.

Also when Barnabas returned to the old house the candles were conveniently lit.  I wondered if maybe Ben kept the candles burning.  But for whatever reason I can't fathom since it would be a fire hazard with the house being empty and all.  ?!?

I know what you mean by candles being lit at odd times and in odd places.  Nobody seemed to question the stand of about 6 or more candles burning away in theo corner of the secret crypt the other day and didn't even bother blowing them out when they left.

I think Barnabas lights them with his evil powers.

Aaaactually, on y-day's second episode when Joshua went 2 show Ben that Barnabus wasn't in his coffin, {even tho he was....} but when they went in2 the secret room in the mausoleum (sp), the candles weren't lit!!! I was like  :o *gasp* "They're not lit!" But ya know, there was the same amount of light in there anyway, so it really doesn't make that much of a difference. Maybe someone on the show had stock in candles or matches....maybe they had a really large fire insurance policy ;)
