Heather, that second picture is too shocking!
I don't know which it is--Grayson gets called to replace Julie Newmar as Catwoman at the last minute, and meows in sensuous glee; or Grayson's screen test for the Hammer classic, Kiss of the Vampire!
Just when I think I've seen it ALL, Grayson and Heather chorus mischievously in my ear: "Oh no you HAVEN'T, Darling!"

Congratulations, Julia99! Your article is a lovely and informative tribute. [thumb]

-
Fantastic article! Congratulations. I look forward to the book.

What can I say- once a Goddess, always a Goddess! Hmmm...don't be surprised if Grayson is rediscovered by the general public a la Louise Brooks!
-
Thank you all for your kind comments. .now if i might ask a personal favor? In order to have this particular piece help build upon the foundation of interest in pursuit of the book. . .if you like it enough, would you post a blurb on the Flickhead blog? (You can do so anonymously--)
The blog actually is a lovely entryway to the article itself:

A divine article about a divine actress!
Terrific job! A great way to create interest in someone who has gone undiscovered for far too long. A shame that Hollywood couldn't figure out what to do with her.

John, you certainly hit the nail on the head. :- She wasn't used to even 1/4 of her potential.
But, for that matter, neither was Nancy Barrett.

Grayson couldn't replace Julie as Catwoman, so we got the next best thing! I would never have made a connection between these two actresses, but you did 14 years or so before Big Finish cast Julie as Dr. Hoffman!

[pointing-up] That is wild. And even wilder that you came across that older post, The Doctor and K9. [easter_wink]

Well, I did a search for Julie Newmar and saw the post.
