Chris:  Dr Hoffman, maybe if you sat right here on my lap, that would ease the tension . .

Dr Hoffman:  Well Chris, its unorthodox but if you think it will help.  .

Damn clothes, period! Do all guys look that sexy after they've been poisoned?! At least Julia's halfway to paradise in her nightgown - maybe some Victoria's Secret (or Fredericks of Hollywood) lurks beneath her Ohrbachs layers...

One can only dream, dear... chortle. Maybe it's Julia's therapeutic ministrations that do the trick.  ^-^

Or maybe nothing at all... ;)

Chris:  AGAIN?  You tired me out after the 5th go-around.  One more and I won't need any of your sedatives. >:D

Yeah!  You took the words right out of my mouth.

PS  Who in hell wears a bra under a nightgown???  Actually, that nightgown has got to go.  (In addition to Chris' shirt)

Julia: Chris, I don't see WHY you're making such a big deal over this.  One little Cialis *isn't* going to kill you.  Now hurry up and take the damn pill!

PS  Who in hell wears a bra under a nightgown???

That would be Grayson Hall, Acamedy Award-nominated actress AND spokeswoman for the Playtex cross-your-heart bra. "It lifts AND separates."

Someone tell us where to find THAT commercial classic and the one with Briscoe taking a shower using Palmolive soap (or was it Coast)?!

LOL, you would if you're standing on a set with a bunch of people staring at you, wondering if you'll remember your lines.  ;)

I don't remember there being Coast soap back then.  (in the olden days)   ::)

Who forgot to put a bra on before leaving for the Fest last August and didn't realize it 'till halfway there.

Th.., uh, I mean, YOU, looked fabulous darling!  :) :D ;D :o  ;) :-*

I should have married you when I had the chance. Now your heart belongs to Gothick.  :'(

I do wish they'd dig up these commercials for the DVD releases as *extras*. Oh, well. Perhaps for the pre-Barns...

I remember seeing Don B. in the soap commercial, but I wonder if it wasn't Dial. It sounds right to have him say, "Aren't you glad... you use Dial? Don't... you...wish...everyone did?" [5323]

It also sounds right to have me washing him with it.  I'd do a very good job too.

Hey - Wait your turn, Connie.  There's a line going from here out the door...[nono]

Oh Sandor...you're up.   ;)

It just occurred to me.....
It's pretty shameful the way we talk about Don Briscoe -- as a mere sex object....piece of meat....hunk of gorgeousosity. (huh?)
It's so hard NOT to though.  He was just too adorable for his own good, IMHO.   :)

Truer words were never spoken, Constance-
Don was sort of the male version of Marilyn Monroe on Dark Shadows: naturally good looking, sexy, impulsive, vulnerable, self-absorbed but sensitive, acting style was either appreciated or abhorred, and ultimately his personal issues overwhelmed his career - all just like Marilyn! Expected him to sing "Silver's Not A Wolf's Best Friend" if there was ever a musical version of DS (but that's for another thread).

You... called her ... CONSTANCE!

*mute with shock*

You are truly a 21st century woman!  Maybe Julia forgot to attend that day at the bra burning ceremony at the Collinsport fair grounds.  ;)

Julia: Chris, I'm you're doctor and I'm prepared to go all the way with you to help you recover.

Chris: Thank you Julia, Barnabas told me you really put out for you're patients.

Julia:  Oh, Chris, there wasn't anybody at Collinwood, so I had no choice but to come here for help.  Would you be a dear and tie my bow for me?  Or untie it....Whatever.
