If a new version of DS were being cast today, whom would you choose to play the lead roles?

Tony Shalhoub as Barnabas (don't know why....but it's GOTTA be him!)

Hallie Barrie as Dorcas (lol).

Kevin Spacey as JebEZ Hawkes (so I could doubly hate the character).

Megan Follows as Victoria.

Don't you think Joanne Woodward would make a magnificent Grandmama?

Christopher Meloni as a new character who never wears a shirt...  >:D

For some reason, I've always thought that Sam Waterston would have made an interesting Barnabas, although I think the role requires a younger actor.

I'd like to see what Faye Dunaway could do with the role of Elizabeth.  She certainly has the strength and imperious manner to play the matriarch of a rich and powerful family.  For Barnabas, I like the idea of Johnny Depp because of his ability to commit fully to a role, and DS requires total commitment from its actors.

First I was going to caption this, then when I realized this wasn't on the Caption This! game board, I was going to comment that I never realized that Barn wore a pinky ring! lol!

Yes, it took me a while to get with the program...duh. ::)

i'd love to see linda evangelista in a dual-performance of elizabeth and victoria(perhaps using a double if they appeared in the same scene).

i don't know why.i'd just like to see her done up as both of these characters. :P
