OMG! Is it a BAD thing when one sees dancing Easter Bunnies floating across the screen? :o
Countess (feeling a bit odd since eating those mushrooms she picked at Eagle Hill Cemetery 8))

I'm sure the moderators can explain this better, but it seems every holiday there's a new floating object that explores your screen and annoys your cursor if you don't pay attention to it. So it's your duty to try to capture it by clicking it on. Now a good thing happens if you get curses but not so good if you get cures. Sort of opposite to real life! LOL In reality it's a game to keep you busy while you wait 120 seconds between posts. ;)

The words curses and cures are clickable just beneath your name. What does that mean? That you can either give someone curse or cure points?
-
Much scarier than the dancing bunnies is the large pic of PTQuentin and his orange blazer from hell! [/i]
Maybellique, you can give someone a curse or a cure by clicking on those. A curse is "good", but a "cure" isn't so good (since most of us like our characters cursed in the DS world). It's just a fun thing. It doesn't really do anything other than giving you something to do while reading.

I tried it out... I think I gave you guys-- Jackie & Countess-- some points... Huh. I've never seen that sort of feature on any other lists. How unique. :) ~DJ

The only thing I get when I click on the rabbit is an admonition not to copy the image. Not that I was expecting to WIN anything, not sure what was supposed to happen---- but I didn't even TRY to copy it. I'm slightly miffed. ???

The only time someone should see the copyright message is if they right-click on a forum image. If someone is the first to left-click on whatever happens to be the latest floating image, they're either awarded Karma curse or cure points. :)
Examples of the latest messages that come up are:
Muhahahahaha,
The EVIL Easter Cures Whabbit has dumped a basket of rancid eggs on your head! +4 points are being awarded to your cures Karma,
Better luck next time!
Muhahahahaha!!!!
and
Congratulations!
The friendly Easter Curses Whabbit has brought you a basket filled with all sorts of Easter goodies, and -5 points are being awarded to your curses Karma!
But people won't be seeing either of those messages for much longer...

Ah. What I meant was that after I clicked on the bunny and got myself some points, I clicked on Jackie's and Countess's curse/cure option to see how it worked. That really is pretty cool.. ~DJ

Technically, the Karma and the floaties features were both developed by YaBB/SMF. I simply activate the features they generously provide. [wink2] And if they happen to mess with a few people heads, well, how can I possibly be to blame? ;D
