A while back, we were tossing about names for a possible new DS.

One of the names was  ??? Jane Kratkowski...(or something like that).

I replied her for Victoria.

Is it Jane Kwatkoski, who was the blonde secretary on Ally McBeal or (I hope), the mom from Malcolm in the Middle??

Please indulge me...I'm on sick child #2 for this week (and folks, it's only Wednesday!!) Pukey baby, oyevah.

The actress who plays the mother on "Malcolm In The Middle" is Jane Kaczmarek.

She's married to Bradley Witford who plays "Josh" on "West Wing"

Which stars Martin Sheen as President Bartlett.  Martin Sheen beat out John Karlen for the lead in the Broadway production of "The Subject was Roses"

Which brings your question back around to D.S.

Oh hell.  I saw the subject title and thought, "Yeah!  I wanna indulge Patti."
But alas....I've never HEARD of any of these people!  LOL

Really?  When did this happen?  That Martin Sheen's in too much stuff.  Ya see him everywhere.  Over-used IMHO.  They should have had Karlen.   :-*

Erm...if you're still talking about a blonde actress...Jane Kaczmarek has darker, more auburn hair. There is an actress that I know of...Jane Krakowski, that I saw in an episode of Law & Order: SVU. (Episode Name: Bound, from Season 5). She was also recently in a Lifetime movie called "Mother at Sixteen" with co-star Danielle Panabaker.

Jane Krakowski was indeed the blonde secretary on Ally McBeal.  I think she'd make a great Carolyn, actually.  Or especially a great Pansy Faye singing "I wanna dance for you" -- LOL!  Jane Kaczmarek would make a hilarious new direction to take Julia in, IMHO -- she wouldn't give Barnabas any choice in having a relationship with her -- "Barnabas, put that music box down right now and get over here and bite me right this minute!"  LOL!
