It feels like they cut out an episode. We have no resolution of the cliffhanger. Instead Of Gerard grilling Stokes, we get Gerard talking to Q about getting a new lawyer. Charles wants to find the head in Q's lab. Naturally Gerard is reluctant.  Gerard tells Q he can't find a lawyer so Q represents self. Trask testifies. QDawson says Q wanted Daniel dead. Barnabas enters the courtroom and defends Q.  So,apparently offscreen he was found by Julia and rescued and recovered quickly from being walled up for a week.

Rather a dull episode, after the exciting one yesterday.
Lamar visits a walled up Barnabas and torments him mercilessly. Barnabas seems to expire. Trask gloats.
Rehash of a lot of courtroom stuff. Lamar begs to testify. He is on the witness stand when Quentin's new attorney arrives. And, of course, it's Barnabas.
