- who will be signing out for a while, as I am leaving Saturday for the beginning of Sir McMoneybag's Tour. I'm going to California [with an aching in my heart - it's my 7th wedding anniversary on Monday - hey, I'm no fool, its easy to remember!] so for the next 8 weeks or so, my schedule will be very band-on-the-run! If any of ya'll are going to see Paul, look for me in the photo pit. I will be at most shows, [and TLATKLS, if you are at any of the shows, I'm sure Paul wants to meet you, so be sure to look me up!!] I will try to try to check in, and tape is rolling, so Let Me Roll It.

I could kiss you Ringo :-* for posting that beautiful magazine cover. Only wish it were true because I'd definitely be a subscriber!
You made my Easter weekend! ;)
Now I think I can tolerate my nephew!

Ringo, you are so talented--I LOVE that magazine cover. I bet Karlen would enjoy it, too, and I hope someone alerts him to where it is and who put it together with such finesse and aplomb!
Have a wonderful trip, my friend, keep us posted if you can, and know you will be sorely missed.
Any man who helps doggies find a new home has a place in my heart.
And happy anniversary to you and your lovely wife!
Love, Robin

Oh Ringo, I KNEW it was going to be sooooo bad!!! And you didn't disappoint! How am I ever going to light another candle with a straight face?
You're going to be gone for 8 entire weeks? How will we manage? What will we do without your wit and style?
Where did I leave those anti-depressants? [sadb].
Have a wonderful tour.....send Notes From the Underground if you can!!

Sign me up for a subscription, Ringo! Do we get anything extra, like the way Entertainment Weekly gives you those CD collections of music from the Fabulous 80's?

This is so cute, Ringo. What a hot photo of him for the cover, too! He was a juicy kid, once upon a time!
I've always seen Willie's family named spelled Loomis. The way you spell it makes me think of Willy Lomas (is that the name?) in that Death of a Salesman thing. I always wondered whether the name of Willie Loomis was somebody's weird idea of an homage to Arthur Miller.
Anyhow, hope you have a great time on your trip!
I saw the statement here in another post (can't recall where now) that Angelique was created by Ron Sproat. I didn't realize that. The first episode in which she appeared was written by Sam Hall, I believe.
Best,
Steve

Steve,
Someone replyed to one of my posts dealing with DS writers. He said that Ron Sproat created the character but then left the show. I mentioned what he said in response to another post. It is likely you saw it mentioned the second time around. Maybe Hall used the character in his script but was not responsible for the creation of Angelique. I remember Malcolm Marmorstein commenting on how Laura, the Phoenix was developed. This is a good question for Lara Parker at the next Festival.
