Post by: VAM on March 30, 2002, 06:21:38 AM
Here is my list of the five most popular places in Collinsport starting with the most popular:

             1)Josette's Bedroom

             2) Drawing Room at Collinwood

             3) Eagle Hill Cemetery

             4) woods outside the Big House

             5) The Eagle Tavern

Who would like to make it ten?

I'm not sure if this would also qualify as Eagle Hill.

7) the 'secret' room in the mausoleum.

8 ) the Collinsport docks

My fave is Chris Jennings' bedroom.  Especially when nobody else is around and Chris is just coming in from the shower wearing only a towel draped over his shoulder.  YEAH.

The secret room - right of the fireplace - in the Old House.

And, don't forget that nice little room Barn put in for Trask in the basement. [heh]

What about what I call, "The Trauma Chair"? Located in the foyer under the picture of Barnabas, this seat is used constantly by someone who is having an ordeal or trauma. Although the chair isnt always in this location, but when it is someone is usually in it saying, "What does it mean" or "I cant believe this is happening".

Watch closely and see.

wow, i dug this old thread up only to say.........at least in the first 3 months of the first season.....my vote would be for Burke Devlins Suite at the Collinsport Inn......entertaining such characters as David, Carolyn, both Constable and Sheriff, Sam, Roger, Malloy, and even Ms. Winters..... :o  wonder what Burke paid a night for that layout.....

I agree that Burke Devlin sure had lots of visitors to his small hotel room. :D

How about the Blue Whale and the Sheriff's Office?  ???  Those places were shown a lot during the first 3 months of the first season as well. :)

A few of my favorites:  Angelique's bedroom at the old house in 1795.  The humble little servant's quarters, and she would always be in there casting a spell or laughing at Ben for thinking he could disobey her.

Jeremiah's bedroom in 1795.  That huge canopy bed, big fireplace, model of a ship over the mantle, that place was beautiful.

Dr. Lange's office.  Another really elegant space.  Even had harpoons on the wall.

The tower room at Collinwood, also 1795.  When Joshua found out Barnabas' secret and moved his casket up there, and people started noticing a light coming from up there.  That was always cool.

1967 - Josette's restored bedroom, so elegant and pretty in contrast to the rest of the dreary Old House.

The secret room behind the Old House bookcase, where Barn hid vampire Roxanne; Willie Loomis imprisoned Barnabas in PT; and where, in 1966, Matthew Morgan kept Vicki prisomer for many tense days.

Carolyn's modern-day bedroom - so hip and pretty, just where a cute blonde party gal should have lived back then.

Maggie's bedroom in the cottage--feminine and far too accessible to certain vampires with those French doors.

Liz' bedroom - as regal and rigid as she was.

Love, Robin
