Having watched (a few times over the years) Dan Curtis’ DEAD OF NIGHT and TRILOGY OF TERROR II TV movies, I would like to hear from other DC fans which version of “Bobby” they like—specifically, Joan Hackett versus Lysette Anthony? (BTW, both movies used the same script by Richard Matheson—and Cobert’s music was also he same.).)
Any thoughts?

Good question. I'm not really sure which version I prefer. Although both utilize the same script, they are different in direction, style, etc.

I wish I could directly comment, Brian, but believe it or not I have yet to see either of those. But I love Joan Hackett (especially her work in The Group, The Last of Shelia and Reflections of Murder), so as much as I've enjoyed Lysette Anthony in what I've seen of her work, I find it hard to believe I would prefer her performance to Joan's. But without having seen either, that's simply an impression.
One of these days I definitely need to check them out...

The Last of Sheila is one of my favorites. I tend to prefer Joan Hackett's work, in general, so I am biased in the "Bobby" case.

MB, I do believe both versions are on youtube or dailymotion (if not something other). Try to hunt them down and check them out.
