Playwright Arthur Miller has passed away.
Over the course of their acting careers, several members of the DS cast have appeared in productions of his plays.
Playbill Online has posted a photo retrospective of Miller's work. They have included a photo from a 1979 production of The Price featuring Mitch Ryan. Click here (http://www.playbill.com/news/article/91165.html) to view it.

In addition, Thayer David, Clarice Blackburn, John Harkins, and Kathy Cody once acted together in a TV production of Miller's The Crucible (circa 1967) I wonder if Cody would remember that; might be worth asking at the Fest.

Jonathan Frid played John Proctor in THE CRUCIBLE at the debut season of Williamstown Theater Festival. I don't have the specifics immediately accessible but I believe it was around 1954. Frid was the first leading man of their first season.

He's actually been in it twice. Pre-DS, when he was at the Barter Theatre in VA, he was in their production. He was John Proctor for the LA Theatre Center production and won a Drama-Logue award. I'm not sure what part he played at the Barter.
