After more than three years, the lawsuit that Prospect Park filed over the rights of the iconic ABC soaps All My Children and One Life to Live has been dismissed. The rights to both shows has reverted back to ABC. What, if anything, will come of this remains to be seen.

reassembling those casts and trying to pick up continuity after four years would be a herculean task. i wonder if the network it up for it?

I would love to see it happen but I think that the deck is really stacked against it. The start up costs would be quite high, as sets would need to be rebuilt and contracts of all sorts would have to be renegotiated. I tend to doubt that ABC or anyone is going to be that eager to restart something that has been cancelled twice. But I never thought that Twin Peaks would make a comeback, so time will tell.
