Notice how Ben Stokes really hated working for Joshua and doing the mundane tasks. Now that he is Barnabas' errand boy, he is turned on to the job at hand. Must be working for the supernatural that has advantages?!
-
Really? Tell that to Willie Loomis....I don't recall him ever looking too pleased to be replacing those #*&% candles AGAIN!! :(

I would give my right arm to have Willie working around my house. He did a great job of keeping the old house in good order. He even dusted the light fixtures.
Birdie ( who's motto is a clean house is a sign of a mispent life, A clean house is a sign of a dull woman, and weren't children sent to help do housework, oh ya and my house was clean yesterday too bad you missed it, maybe if I spent less time on the computer,.......

weren't children sent to help do housework,
I think if I didn't have a kid in this house I wouldn't NEED help doing the housework!!
But oh, yes, I would also love to have Willie Loomis working at my house. He could wash my kitchen floor (ladies, NEVER wish for a larger kitchen than you already have...you might get one) and vacum the Husky fur off the carpet...and he'd never fear being punished by Barnabas again after spending a day shoveling out my teenager's bedroom!!
Raineypark....who probably wouldn't mind having Willie light her candles. ;)

Or digging up another body or keeping the Collinwood ladies safe from Barnabas' charms or polishing the mantel one more time.

LOL :D My husband says the same thing: "This house would be in better shape if I got off the damn computer". Oh well, at least I keep myself busy instead of using the remote to go up & down the channels 99 times ::)

You and I think alike, Raineypark!
Also, don't ask for a white kitchen floor--they are a bitch to keep clean. You might as well wear Swiffer's for shoes! Just shut the kid's door. That's what I had to learn because sometimes you found things that you didn't want to know about(I think I'm related to Sherlock Holmes because I can't leave the closet, the dresser drawers or underneath the bed alone without looking to see what's in it).
And, YES, :-*, Willie is more than welcome at my home, too. We'll just have to share him, Raineypark.

Uhhh, we're not talking about HOUSEWORK anymore, are we? ;)
You've given me a whole new perspective of ol' Willie as a handy man, hee hee!!

Ooops :P.....now I'm really in trouble. I just realized I've arrived at full membership, which means I'm obviously spending WAY too much time chatting with you lot, and getting dreamy- eyed over Mr. Karlen/Loomis.
If IT Hubby ever decides to get on here and see what I'm doing all day, there'll be hell to pay, hee hee!!
Outta Here!! [rollb]

That was Jeff Clark's job under Dr. Lang...

I think there may be some customers for a NEW magazine on this tread...... coming soon to a monitor near here!
WATCH THIS SPACE!

If I'm not mistaken, Willie had to dig up a body for Barnabas and Julia to create Eve. Joe found Willie in Eagle Hill when he got the call from Angelique.
Barnabas had played the "Maggie card" to get Willie to stick around to help out with the HS science project.

Carol,
A white kitchen floor! We had our house built 8 years ago and we had a light floor. last year I put tile in brick red to hide the dirt.hehe. Now I claim the kitchen floor is dirty and no one can tell.hehe. My kitchen is huge too. But the computer is in the family room right next door..So while I cook, bake, clean, it is right there... I bet Willie washed the floors...
Birdie--who dreams of tall dark and handsome men with blue eyes. Don't tell my husband.

Now Ms. Rainypark,
I seem to recall that Mr Loomis/Karlen DID light your candle once ;). Only once, but now let's not get greedy, shall we?
abbeymarch, She who knows too much.

:P Too late, She-who-knows-too-much! It's already been mentioned....which you would know if you got on here more than once a month!!!
And you're going to find yourself She-who's-dead-and-buried-under-the-dog-house if you don't watch it....kindly stick to your expertise in The History of Costume and Design and never mind what you know about the History of Raineypark...don't forget Abbey, it works both ways !! ;) [lghy]

Unfortunately, Raineypark, my place of employment does not understand the need for accessing the internet for personal use. Perhaps then I could get on here more often.
I also seem to have a bit of difficulty navigating the site, which takes up valuable reading & posting time.
None of this has any bearing however, on the state of my house. ;D
That is an inherent downfall.
Besides, there are no skeletons in my closet relevant to this board. That would be WA-A-AY OT.
Not that there aren't any skeletons..... ;D
