Hulu Ends Its Free Streaming Service (http://tvline.com/2016/08/08/hulu-not-free-subscription-services-yahoo/)
So, no more watching DS (both the original and the '91 series) for free...

"...the free service became very limited and no longer aligned with the Hulu experience or content strategy.”
I know that's supposed to mean something other than "we got tired of giving away for free what we realized we could make people shell out 12 bucks a month for." Right?
cheers, G.

What shocked me is that now they're making people pay $7.99 to watch with commercials, which seems even worse. But then I'm betting they think many people will be willing to pay the extra $4 just to avoid commercials...

I knew that day would come. Cha-ching; cha-ching. I use to watch shows all the time on Hulu, even putting up with the constant ads. Now they want to charge for everything, and people will still have to put up with ads unless they shill out more. Bye-bye. I'll stick to youtube and other websites where it's still free. I don't even mind the ads.

Um, on another topic, I had asked if DS was on Netflix, where I believe KMR informed me that it would be too hard to follow a serial, which made sense.
Wish I would've known it was on Hulu; although my times watching stuff on Hulu, not at all impressed.
I looked at my bank statement a week ago....somehow, I was charged for A. Prime. [ghost_mad]

For the brief time One Life to Live was 'streaming' or at least 'on the computer', which format or company was it with? (I want to say Hulu..)

I think Hulu was one of the outlets that ran OLTL.
As for Amazon Prime, did you order anything recently that was supposed to be available only to Prime members? If so, that may have automatically singed you up for it...
