Seems Dan Curtis by late August 1967 was planning Barnabas to be killed off by the end of 1967.

It was definitely interesting that Newsweek did that piece on DS - but even as a kid when I read it, I found a lot of it to be condescending. I mean, "grandma Joan Bennett"! And please, Frid's performances were not "campy"! Not to mention the article doesn't even have all the facts correct (but then, I suppose so what else is new?).

But thanks for posting the link, Joeytrom.  [ghost_smiley]  I'm sure anyone who hasn't seen it before will want to read it...
