Remember the short lived daytime revival of the classic nighttime soap Peyton Place, titled, appropriately enough, Return to Peyton Place? It ran on NBC from around 1972-1974. The show's imdb trivia section says that Donna tested for the part of one of the main characters, Betty Anderson. She didn't get the part. The show went with Julie Parrish, who bore a striking resemblance to the original actress, Barbara Parkins. Still, if she got as far as a screen test, Donna must have been considered a viable candidate for the part. It would be interesting to see her test, though the footage was likely discarded years ago.
