Title: i didn't tape the WS because....

when i went to tape the World Series Game 4 i didn't have a blank tape
my husband pulled out a tape and said "how about one of these
DS tapes you have so many?"  i said no i love those tapes (of course
i could have gone to the store but it meant missing part of the game)
Of course my husband said "but you love the Red Sox"
i told him i love DS too and should not have to choose!

I wouldn't worry about it, Jennifer......I'm sure the Videos are being manufactured as we speak and will be available in every store in Boston.  ;D

Congratulations........winning in the historic manner they did, in 8 straight games, must have made the wait seem almost worth it...... ;)

thanks rainey but when they said Red Sox Nation would go nuts i saw what they meant
when i went to the store today it's just lines and lines of people buying tons
of shirts, hats, banners ,mugs you put WS champs on anything and they will buy it!
i heard also that yesterday's papers are already selling on E Bay! and they say people
that are still watching a almost40 year old show are crazy! LOL!

Hurray!  All of us New Englanders are still walking around in a state of shock and exhaustion.  My son is off to Boston tonight to join in the craziness.  Oh, to be young.  I on the other hand will be home dreading tomorrow.  Why did I tell my l5 year old she could have a Halloween Party?

If it's any consolation Birdie, you're not the only one.
On Sunday evening my 17 year old will be hosting her annual Halloween party.

I so hope she goes away to college next year...... ::)

Rainey, we were informed last night that two of the kids would be bringing there instruments, they play in a band.  Don't worry there will be plenty of parental supervision.  I am sure the nieghbors will be just thrilled with what is happening at our house.

Only if they're grumpy people.  Where else would they like a bunch of kids to be on Halloween instead of a house party with parental supervision?

Out roaming the neighborhood wreaking havoc?  ???
