Title: OT - Possible new "Kolchak: The Night Stalker" series

Variety reported yesterday that X-Files writer/Exec. Producer Frank Spotnitz is devoloping a "fresh take" on Kolchak:  The Night Stalker for ABC.  SCI FI Wire also has the story:

It's cool to see the alphabet network not shying away from supernatural shows.  And, to help make this announcement less off-topic, I'll mention that Dan Curtis was involved with both Kolchak movies.

Maybe ABC would condsider re-doing Dark Shadows if Kolchack is a hit.
