Title: Post Color Question
Post by: Patti Feinberg on October 07, 2004, 12:41:52 AM
I hope I'll phrase this right...but, each post, the BACKGROUND color is different (light to dkish gray).

Sometimes (shoot, ALL the time) I can't figure out if it's going to be dark or light. This matters in conjuncture with TEXT color.

Is there a sure-easy way to know/tell which shade it'll be?
(Again, hope I phrased this somewhat coherently!)

Thanks,

Patti

I completely understand what you mean, but the only way to know what color background you'll get is to look to see what color the last post in the topic has. You'll know that you *should* get the other color. But what's nice about this new system is that, if you preview your post before you submit it, you'll be alerted as to whether or not someone else has made a post in the topic while you were writing yours - that way, if need be, you'll be able to adjust the text color accordingly before you submit it.

And, of course, if there are still any problems with the text color you've picked, you can always edit it after you see what it looks like once you've submitted it.  :)
