At long last! I have finally managed to get my act together enough to put my photos online. And the crowd breaks out in a spontanious "whoop-di-do!".
Annnnnyway, I had lots of fun with my introduction page this time - using mostly original photos but, ahem, in a couple of cases, borrowing liberally from other sources as well. Since I'm not in the biz to sell but just to have fun, I guess I'm okay with that. ::)
I do want to say that, aside from all the usual planned fun stuff, I truly enjoyed
meeting and greeting folks from the board - Midnite, ProfStokes, LadyAnne, Stuart, Bobubas, Grayson's Legion, Julia99, and MissWintrhop. If I forgot anyone, I apologize and hope to see you at the next Dark Shadows event - in whatever Phoenix-like incarnation it takes.
Oh, yeah, my 2004 photo collection can be found at:

Wonderful photos, CastleBee! But seeing your avatar photo the way it really looks definitely ruins the illusion that you're actually an alien. Oh, well...
:D

Wonderful pictures, CastleBee! Thank you for sharing them. It was wonderful to meet you at the Fest. ;D Next time I'm in the Tarrytown area, I will have to pay a visit to Sunnyside; from your pictures it looks like such a beautiful estate.
ProfStokes
PS--I think the unknown guy in the picture with me and Stuart by the dealer room is Richard Halpern (the back of him anyway).

Very cool photos, CastleBee. And the intro page is super-- nice job! :)

What lovely pictures Castlebee! The scenery pictures of the mansion and Sunnyside were just breathtaking! And wow, I had no idea that you took a picture of Bobubas and me with JK! To think that we were that close to one other and never realized who the other was is just mindboggling! I really wish we got a chance to meet. Hopefully next year!
Thanks so much for sharing these! :)

Castlebee,
Your photos of the estate are stunning. In fact, they are more impressive than what Lyndhust has on its official website. You are obviously a very experienced photographer. It was interesting to see Washington Irving's home, too -- did you get to Sleep Hollow Cemetery? (Sorry if you've mentioned this in earlier posts, I have only read one or two threads on the festival.) Hopefully we'll meet again at a future festival!
As I was thinking of your photo of Lyndhurst, I think it's the first one, I was reminded of a fantastic photo of Seaview Terrace that was on a Dark Shadows website a few years back. I wish I could find that photo again. It was very large and very wide shot. What was most remarkable about it was the dark, threatening sky ...
BTW, the webpage is beautifully designed too. What talent!
