Oops - I just came across this today. But better late than never.

He barely ever gets commemorations like this, so it's nice to see it. [ghost_smiley]
(And it's hard to believe that the 45th anniversary of the release of hoDS is almost upon us. In a way it almost seems like it was only yesterday that I was sitting in the theater watching it for the first time...)

Too bad we have to feel good about crumbs. I'm glad about it, but considering the major impact DS had, that still continues with us, you'd think it would figure into horror fans' personal pantheons more. But maybe writers aren't credited that much overall. Also, films are "it" for horror fans, possibly. You don't casually rent DS as you would a film, to try it out. You could, but which ep's?
