I couldn't agree more with your opinions of the pilot, Stuart. As you say, the WB's reaction to it is a crying shame...

That was a nice review Stuart. From what was shown, Hogan clearly had a handle on what Dark Shadows is all about. I wonder if these are the scenes JP speaks of that worked. JP mentioned there were some scenes that clearly did not work and were not in accordance with DC's vision. Is it possible Hogan was that bad in the remaining scenes? I guess we will never know for sure. I wasn't to thrilled to see Elizabeth on Prozac but it is possible I may have gotten used to her interesting take on Elizabeth. Perhaps the script called for her to act bubbly. I assume the script will never be made available to us fans? Perhaps the DS producers hope to use the same script in another revival project? After all even the WB liked it. Did I just give those pompous fools credit? lol

Wish we had Hogan's take on the pilot as I am sure there are facts we are not aware of.
