I would love to do this...unfortunately, can't start at the moment because we have been having a rash of hideous thunderstorms and our power has been out for over 24 hours. Is that a bit of Dark Shadows irony or what!? I actually felt like I was in an episode of DS last night as I wandered around a dark house with thunder crashing away every 5 minutes or so. Mostly I hate it when the power goes out because, without access to the Internet, I feel like I'm cut off from the world (I'm not sure when that happened because I lived quite happily for 38 years without the Internet - but it's amazing how quickly some things can become an integral part of your life). But that said, I LOVE a raging nighttime thunderstorm, so I'm so jealous of your experience, CastleBee. But once your power is back - and I hope for your sake that it's soon - please do feel free to join in on the Watching Project. I'm sure we'd all love to read your take on the eps. [nodassent]

Well, my lights just blinked because of a thunderstorm we're having right now. Soon it might be my turn to be without electricity. But at any rate I suppose I should get off the Internet...

Well, I survived the storms and the lack of power - for 2 ½ days. The food in the two fridges – not so much. The one in the garage had fewer issues since we mainly use it for sodas and occasional over flow. There was still an issue with some exploding frozen dough that will require more attention – btw: if you ever go through this kind of thing and you have anything with yeast in it, toss it right off the bat...apparently yeast has a strong resentment to warming up slowly from the frozen state. The main fridge was a bigger issue – we lost all kinds of good stuff (chicken, fish, butter, eggs, all kinds of condiments, veggies and – for GOD’s sake - ice cream!). All were sadly delivered to the curb this morning for trash pickup. Now that this week’s drama is wrapping up I am told that the temps are going to soar and, just like back in good old Collinsport – more storms are on the horizon! I think I’ll try to join the group now. If I disappear again it’s either because I’m offline, stuck in parallel time, at the old house or lost in the east wing. Whatever the case, I will do my best to return!

Actually, feel free to jump right in because the only ep from the current schedule that's being discussed so far is Ep #946 (though the discussion topic for Ep #497 has been posted). The schedule is sort of fluid with the dates on it being a suggested day to watch an ep - but we hardly ever begin a discussion of it on that day - normally the topic to discuss the ep isn't even posted until at least a few days later. [ghost_smiley]
Though if you'd prefer to wait until the next batch of eps, that's certainly fine, too. [ghost_wink]
And as far as the storm goes, I made out fine - though it did thunder and lightning for several hours, so I stayed off the Internet until that passed...
I'm really sorry you lost so much food. [ghost_sad]

Better late than never, but now that people are catching up to Ep #1025 it can be mentioned that the WP is currently on its usual holidays hiatus. And it will resume on January 4th.
