Title: I hear that Frank is back but not Mitch

Apparently the notorious character of Frank Smith has returned to General Hospital for a limited run but he's being played by a new actor instead of the actor who last played him, Mitch Ryan. I wonder if Ryan just wasn't interested in a return? Or maybe he wasn't up to it (after all, the man is 87 now)? Or maybe he wasn't even asked if they want to take the character in what soap's like to call "a new direction."

Well, Frank Smith was shot and killed and died (as I understand it, AGAIN), so maybe two day's work (or one, actually, since they now shoot multiple episodes in a single day) didn't interest Mr. Ryan.  Just speculating... [ghost_wink]
