According to thefutoncritic.com (http://www.thefutoncritic.com/cgi/gofuton.cgi?action=newswire&id=6694):

DARK SHADOWS (WB) - The failed pilot's co-star Jason Shaw ("Charmed") has inked a one-year talent holding deal with the project's Warner Bros. Television-based John Wells Productions. The pact will likely place the model-turned-actor into one of the Wells' existing or developing projects.

Thanks MB.

Hate to see these words "failed" and "discarded" associated with the DS pilot. The pilot's crashing should never have happened and the WB itself is partially at fault. Let's hope the WB is truly open to revisiting DS as DCP seems to believe.
