Ohhh....Midnite beat me by 20 minutes, but who cares.
We Loved Christopher Lee....of course his Hammer work, and what a blessing to have him be in '12 Dark Shadows.
Sad....:(

echoing Patti as well - Dark Shadows might have been his last role to a outstanding career.

May Christopher Lee's spirit know true Peace. He leaves us with such a bounty of gifts.
His death marks the true end of the epoch of classic horror.
For Depp fans, there's a really cute photo of a blond Depp giving Lee an award or some kind of tribute in 2013. It was posted on a Book of Face post about Lee's passing yesterday.

Since I primarily know his work as a vampire, and, since he was in Dark Shadows, I feel I won't get 'locked out' by asking some Christopher Lee questions.
As I stated, I don't believe (with the obvious exception of DS), that I've seen many non-vampire CL movies (on a different thread, on the $1.99 movie, I know there's a movie with both C. Lee & P. Cushing, not as enemies/monsters).
Are all the C. Lee/P. Cushing 'vampire' movies 'Hammer Films'? (I had never heard of that until here, even though as a youth, I had seen them all alot.)
Hammer Films.....is this a production company (akin to 'A Dan Curtis Production)? Or, was the franchise purchased by 'Hammer' (who is Hammer)?
Was C. Lee 'professionally trained'; his elocution is very good.
I've seen him be impaled by a full man sized cross, burned to death by sunlight, and, I'm not 100% positive, but I think at least once staked.
Can anyone else name other VAMPIRICAL deaths C. Lee died by?
Patti, who of course, watched a Christopher Lee/Peter Cushing movie this weekend.
