Title: Question about a DS zine
Post by: Julianka7 on June 03, 2004, 03:01:56 AM
Hello,
I haven't been posting in a while. So Hello
everyone :)
My question is this, is Dale Clark a member here?
I have been trying to contact him about buying
some of his Inside the Old House zines and
novels. Can anyone help me contact him?
Thanks, Julianka

Just a suggestion - on the WordPerfect forum I use, they make a big deal about the fact that robots often get e-mail addresses from websites, increasing the spam one receives.

They suggest disguising the address, for example:  nardoz at earthlink dot net

instead of writing it the normal way - we understand it, but the bots don't.

P.S. - Welcome back, Julianka!  :)

Spam IS a very big deal, but that idea isn't going to fool a sophisticated spam bot, sorry.

I changed the address in my original post, and I apologize if it causes any confusion but it's the best I can do.  Even if I send Julianka7 to his website instead, a spammer could grab the url and still get his email via this topic because his address is posted on his own site.

Thank you Midnite :)
That is the address I have been writing to.
Maybe he is just on vacation or something.
I have wanted to buy the zines and novels
for a long time. But the money always was
needed for other things.

J, If you do manage to get in touch with him, I highly recommend his fanzine sequels to the original series.

They're probably the best fan-written sequel stories out there, and real page turners. With an editorial polish and some added texture and detail, they would make excellent legit tie-in novels.

They are, in correct order:

REUNION
RETRIBUTION
REVELATIONS
DESTINY
DISASTER
DAMNATION
RITUAL

There's a coming attraction page for another one called RESURRECTION but I have no idea if that was ever finished or if it continued past then.

I've seen his novels at the fest in the past. However, I haven't seen all 7 of them for sale at the same time. If he's at the fest this year and selling them, I'd be happy to pass along any messages to him if needed.
