[pointing-up]   [jawdrp]  You are not going to believe this but when I came up with that set up, my idea was that they were going to declare that the thief would have to pay with S&H Green Stamps! I thought no one is ever going to come close to saying anything like that.  [nodno]  But YOU did!  :o  Talk about us being on the same wavelength!!

To quote Deborah Harry, accidents never happen in a perfect world!! [snow_wink] [snow_wink] BTW, Triple S Blue Stamps actually have a DS connection. Just prior to DS, Joan Bennett was billed as the hostess for the stamp catalogue. I remember seeing pictures of her in her very chic NYC apartment. The place was decorated with all sorts of fancy, up to the minute touches which Joan (and the consumer) could only have acquired by pasting book after book of stamps.

You're welcome, Magnus. Joan did a lot of promotional stuff over the years, from Royal Crown Cola to cigarettes to Ayds (so calm called reducing candy). She and her Trade Winds costar Ralph Bellamy did a commercial for Geritol that got a lot of airtime around 1970. I still remember Joan cooing "Geritol's marvelous."
