What does Barnabas and baseball have in common?
SPOILER......
Three strikes and he is out! ;D

Dear Vam,
I've often thought that if the residents of Collinwood fielded their own baseball team, the two top pitching aces would be:
1. Barnabas Collins and his "Bat Ball" pitch.
2. Count Petofi and his "Petofi Palm Ball" pitch.
Of course, the right fielder and clean-up hitter for the team would be Adam "Long Ball" Lang, the Babe Ruth of the AAA Supernatural League.

Just love it Bob!

And of course Roger would be umpire...
only to be relieved by T. Eliot Stokes once he had too many Sherires....
And if it were co-ed Anglique would just mojo the ball over the outfield fence...
And Josette would bean that pesky low flying bat(of the rodent variety!)
And Laura would set the opponents ball on fire...

So that is how it is done!
Any ideas for a team name?

Vam,
Of course, the team's centerfielder would be Quentin "Mr. Cool in the Clutch" Collins. And I see Istvan the Gypsy in left field; A man of few (if, any) words, who literally muscles the pitch over the outfield fence.
First base could be played by Jeb "The Snake" Hawkes, who can make that long, stretched-out play on ground balls.
Batter up!

Bob,
We have a team that cannot lose...Think about the possibilities of managing such a group.... ::)

Somehow, I see Aunt Abigail as the annoying fan who has season tickets above the home team dugout constantly screaming out criticisms:
"Hey Barnabas! You call that a swing? What are you swatting at? A fly, or a BAT?"
"Naomi! Show a little husstle out there! Happy hour isn't until AFTER the game!"
"Joshua! I've seen better hands on a clock! Who said you could field a ground ball??"
Of couse, little Sarah would be the honorary "Bat Girl" ;D

You do realize these would have to be night games.
Can you imagine an extra innings game, score tied, Barnabas at the plate and he hits a homerun and the sun is beginning to rise.

Is that why they invented pinch-runners?....for just that circumstance? Now who would that be? Honestly, I can't remember anyone who struck me as particularly athletic....though we all know who looked the best in tight trousers..... ;D

Along with Barnabas and "Palm Ball" Petofi in the pitching rotation, we could have King Johnny Romano with his trademark "Gadjo"(?) pitch, now you see it, now you don't!
And how about John Yeager as our closer in the bullpen? Like Rollie Fingers and Dennis Eckersly, Yeager has a thick, dark moustache. However, unlike Messrs. Fingers and Eckersly, John Yeager's moustache falls off of his upper lip when he fires the pitch over the plate.
