Not a show I know, but I'm always pulling for Lucy Lawless.  I now realize that could be taken two ways.

the Lawless addition strikes me as rather calculated stunt casting with this series. a deliberate attempt to attract a "particular" audience. this thing is tailor made for the "comic con" crowd.


I watched the first season on Netflix. the sets and special effects are totally cheestastic. entertaining in a spectacularly stupid way.  [snow_rolleyes]

I've not seen ALOT of Lawless, but, her, as a powerful witch sounds intriguing....

What station is it on MB? I don't think I've heard of it before this thread.

I hope it's not a 'premium channel' on cable.

Comcast finally gave us WGN America back after it being gone for the past 17 years or so but sadly it's not Available in HD.

it's evocative of DS in it's "period" costuming...


somewhat historically accurate clothing with "contemporary" beauty trends. the hair and makeup is very "now". and certainly nothing like a "puritan" woman would have worn.
