Post by: Josette on March 28, 2004, 03:33:59 AM
Chances to see the new cast.

Once again, Patrick on the SciFi board has provided us with the TV listings.  The rest of this post is from Patrick:

For those of you like me who are unfamiliar with the actors and actresses signed for the WB DS pilot, here is a crash course on how to get a look at some of their work with upcoming showings:
(All times EST)
---------------------------------------------------------
Marley Shelton (Victoria)

Sugar and Spice - TBS Sunday March 28 12pm

Never Been Kissed - USA Sunday March 28 5pm, repeated Monday March 29 12pm

Pleasantville - TBS Sunday April 4 3:30pm

Karen Sisco (tv series) - USA Wednesday March 31 10pm
----------------------------------------------------------

Martin Donovan (Roger)

Insomnia - HBO Monday April 5 10:30pm

Pipe Dream - Showtime Sunday March 28 10am, repeated Tuesday March 30 12:15pm
-----------------------------------------------------------

Ivana Milicevic (Angelique)

Head over Heels - USA Sunday March 28 3pm, repeated Monday March 29 8am
-----------------------------------------------------------

Matt Czuchy (Willie)

Eight Legged Freaks - HBO Tuesday April 6 4pm

Whew! That's a bunch to digest so soon but I'm going to do my best and hopes this helps those who might be interested in checking out the new DS cast ahead of time.

Karen Sisco (tv series) - USA Wednesday March 31 10pm

Given that ABC yanked this show off the air without ever really giving it a chance (it's quirky but quite good), kept promising to bring it back to show the remaining shot but unaired episodes, but then decided not to, I bet she must be happy this episode will finally be shown on USA.

Both TV Guide and our newspaper's TV book list "Monk" at that time, so either it's a late change that didn't make the printed listings, or Patrick got that one wrong.

TV Guide Online says that Karen Sisko will be on USA at 10pm/ET tonight. In fact, their critic, Matt Roush, reviewed and loved the episode. (No mention of Marley Shelton, though.)

Here's the synopsis for the episode:

Karen Sisco
Dog Day Sisco
60 mins.

Karen and her father (Carla Gugino, Robert Forster) becomes hostages in a bank robbery. FBI Agent Pepper: Gil Bellows. Tweety: Marley Shelton. Daffy: Steve Cell. Sylvester: Maurice Compte. Porky: Gregory Erff. Bugs: Ron Melendez. Capt. Mendes: Carlos Cervantes. Amos Andrews: Bill Duke.

Cast: Bill Duke, Carla Gugino, Robert Forster, Gil Bellows, Marley Shelton, Steve Cell, Maurice Compte, Gregory Erff, Ron Melendez, Carlos Cervantes

It must have been a late change.  I checked our paper today and it's listed.  I'm taping it now, so I won't know for sure until it's over.

About two or maybe three weeks ago I read that USA had gotten the Karen Sisco episodes. But the thing is that the listings for the print version of TV Guide as well as the newspapers are sent out two weeks before their date, so there probably wasn't time to make the change.
