Title: Happy Christmas to all
Post by: Birdie on December 19, 2003, 01:12:00 PM: I just thought I might take a moment to wish all of our "cousins" a very Merry Christmas. The days are slipping by fast and my free time lately has been very limited. It has been a awhile since I have watched my tapes or viewed live. I am still in denial that Sci-fi is pulling our show. Maybe it is a good thing that I have been so very busy. This forum is a special place and with wonderful people who take part.

Has this year flown or what? I can remember when I was little and it took forever for Christmas to get here. Now I worry it gets here to quickly.
I hope everyone has a safe holiday and a healthy one too. Hum Bug to the flu I say.

I was out Christmas shopping today, still have more to do tomorrow, going to buy a bicycle for my daughter, she needs a bigger one, she keeps growing all the time. We had dinner with her dad's other daughter, husband, and their son. I also had to go to the grocery store today, and while I was there, my little girl's father went to the bank inside the store, then caught up with me shopping, and he gave me a bunch of one hundred dollar bills. Merry Christmas! Or as I usually say, what a trip!

Teresalite, that is so true! It use to take forever for Christmas to come when we were kids, now it flies by so fast that it seems almost scary!

I don't know how it works on a high-speed connection, but on my dial-up, several small animated figures appear and it says "done" down below, but at that point keep waiting until the whole page fills with the background picture. P.S. to moderators - I can't get the 2nd link to work - I think it's because of the commas within it, it stops turning it into a link at that point - I don't know if you can get around that in some way.

I suppose anyone can copy and paste it if the link won't work - all the way to the swf at the end of the line.
