If you're one of the many people who are still using Windows 98, you might not be happy to learn that Microsoft has decided to remove the availabilty of certain downloads for that operating system from their MSDN site sooner than was originally planned, due in no small part to the fact that they lost ([hello]) a lawsuit with Sun Java. D-Day for this phase out is now December 23rd (which has actually been extended from the originally announced December 16th)
