Title: G is for Gabriel
Post by: Maria_Merriweather on December 01, 2003, 04:26:08 PM
I love the way the writers could pack so much into half an hour. Daphne is a little sharper than Vicky. She's "too smart for her own good".  I'm a sucker for the governess in peril stuff. I've missed something though. Why is Gabriel pretending  to be unable to walk?[confused_ani]

Pity/sympathy...."oh, woe is me, I can't walk....carry me (Literally and figuratively).

But - when we first learned that he could walk, when he terrorized his father, he did seem a bit unsteady and awkward.  Then, with the reading of the will, when he "almost" walked and Gerard commented on it, his feet were crooked and it was very uncertain.  At that point we assume that he's managed to get around on his feet, but probably not too well.

Now - he goes racing around the house, running down stairs, etc. as though there never had been an accident.
