Title: Return to Collinwood 2003
Post by: njcpcc on November 25, 2003, 12:36:09 AM
Does anyone know when this will be released on CD?  They apparently recorded it right after the play itself.

Thanks,

Paul

I heard that late fall, early spring was a possibility for it's release. I would try MPI to see if there is any info on it if you haven't done so yet.  I was in NYC for the fest this past September and the cast was superlative when they read the play. My overall impressions are favorable for the story itself. I'm looking forward to this one and I'm hoping it will start a continuing trend of radio play recordings.  ;D

It's in the latter stages of post production, so expect it probably early in 2004 now.

And very spiffy it is too  :D

:) I'm looking forward to adding this to my Dark Shadows collection. I, too thoroughly enjoyed the cast performing the story at the Fest. The DVD should be  just greqt to own.

It'll just be on CD, Misty, at least for now.  It was taped by one of the Fest videographers but I don't have a clue what's to be done with that.

The version on the CD was recorded on Labor Day -- the Monday after the festival -- at a New York sound studio.  I'm not sure if it's still the case, but there was talk of putting some enhanced multimedia features on the disc.
