Thanks Annie! Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving. Mrs. Julian and I are hopping aboard Amtrak tomorrow morning for a twelve hour trip to NYC to spend the weekend with family and friends.

We all have lots to be ThankFUL for.
We're having it here (I blew off the last 2 years, being preggers then having a baby). But my husband likes to cook, so he does the cooking (not all the cleaning before AND after).
I'm on my way to go get shrimp for shrimp cocktail (don't know why, but that's been my family tradition, passed over to my husband's family forever!)
Hmm....10ish people....60 no 70 shrimp (I'll eat at LEAST 10 while cleaning/peeling!!)

For my Turkey Day, it's over the river and thru the woods to mother-in-law's we go...don't have to cook this way, but then again, I don't get that fridge full of leftovers - which my waist is happy about, but my tummy??? :-

Happy Thanksgiving cousins! Thanks for the card dom! My little girl's father from California is taking us out for Thanksgiving dinner at his favorite restaurant. I don't cook every year. Last year, there was too much food leftover for my daughter and I. It's hard to cook for just two people. Her dad was supposed to come over and he didn't. His other daughter and grandchildren live in Las Vegas too. On holidays, our daughter wants him to be here, and his other family wants him to be there. It creates a problem. He says we will have an early dinner, then later on he'll go to their house. I wouldn't see him at all except my daughter wants to see him, and I don't want to be alone on the holidays.

Well girlfriend....you're not alone; we'll all be here (and with some of our families coming over, some of us will be on-line more than others! ;D )

Ozzie looks just like my toy poodle Bridget. She is sitting right under the computer desk as I try to type. Miss Bridget brings us so much joy. I know Ozzie will do the same for you.
