Title: Abe Vigoda at Chiller Theatre

Dark Shadows day player Abe Vigoda will be making an appearance at Chiller Theatre in Parsippany,  New Jersey this month,  April 25-27. He will not be signing autographs. He will be available for photo opportunities with a professional photographer. No price has been announced as of yet.

The price of the Abe Vigoda photo is $ 60.00. Which is a bit much for my budget.

and the reason anybody would pay $60.00 for a (unautographed) of abe vigoda is? [snow_huh] [snow_huh] [snow_huh]


and what's he doing at 'chiller'? I thought that was horror stuff.

Chiller started out as a horror convention but it has turned into a more generalized autograph/memorabilia show. The presence of Sopranos actors, nighttime soap stars and pop singers like Samantha Fox has become quite commonplace.

I don't anyone who would $ 60.00 for a picture either. At least I hope I don't.

even at the height of my DS mania I wouldn't have paid anything close to 60 bucks for a picture of anybody in the cast. [snow_rolleyes]

I could not rationalize the expense. Still, I imagine there's some who will pay it. And it's almost cheap compared to the $455.00 that Sylvester Stallone charged at the New York Comic con.

I know several huge fans of The Godfather who would. I imagine he still has a small but very loyal following from Barney Miller/Fish as well. He probably will not sign autographs because of arthritis. That's just speculation.

If anyone is considering doing the photo op with Abe Vigoda at Chiller Theatre this weekend,  please be aware that he will only be available on Saturday.
