BREAKING NEWS:
DS being revived by ABC, will replace Katie Couric's failed talk show.
ABC now offering iconic DS roles to cast members of All My Children and One Life to Live.
Susan Lucci may be playing Liz Stoddard, with Robin Strasser (OLTL's Dorian) as Dr. Julia Hoffman.
Michael E. Knight (AMC's Tad) is in talks to play Barnabas Collins.

And Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen will be playing Angelique and Cassandra/Alexis, respectively.

(Don't know why they decided to have those roles played by different actors this time 'round...  Perhaps they figured they should keep more actors working.)

I think I read somewhere that Doris Roberts will be playing Dr. Julia Hoffman.  Instead of using meds, she'll use guilt and food.  They've already fitted her with a red wig.
