Title: OT..but Can Someone Help Me

First, I noticed I couldn't see Mark Rainey's avatar (just a box with small red x).

Now, on some e-mails, I assume there's some sort of pics (the obligatory funny text, again, under box with small red x).

How do I 'restore' or whatever?
