On Thur Oct 30, Craig Hamrick, author of the Louis Edmonds bio Big Lou, enters the hospital for what will hopefully be his final cancer surgery.
He's been doing much better of late, but is not out of the woods yet.
Please pray & light candles for him on Thur & Fri

Craig --
:)
I love your newest DS book "Barnabas & Co." I loved the new edition of "Big Lou" -- he was right, you did get another edition done!
;)
I will be so very happy to hear you are doing well soon!

I didn't know he was ill - and with cancer! He signed the books of his which I purchased at the Fest; he's such a nice guy. He'll be in my thoughts for a quick and full recovery.

Thanks, all. When dear Louis E was still alive, he, Craig & I went to a few movies together in Manhattan. Both were wonderful company.
Craig remains one of DS fandom's finest people. His books & his wonderful website, DarkShadowsOnline.com are part of what keeps DS alive after all these years.
Get well, Craig.
We need you.

Last week's surgery went very well, and his boyfriend reports that Craig is happy with the news he received (albeit sore!). And his sense of humor is in full bloom.
I'm passing this along: "Please know that all of your thoughts, prayers, and good vibes have meant so much to Craig (and to me)."
Thanks for the update, David.
