After all the DVD sets are released...
...Do you think they'll go back, and make the first pre-Barnabas year available as a special edition-- like they did on VHS?
Has there been any announcements? Does it seem likely to you?
I was just browsing the Victoria Winters thread under Current Talk, and remembering how much I liked the early Vicki, Maggie, Caroline, Devlin, etc...
The dialog seemed especially snappy in that first year, and even without the supernatural elements it was a darned good soap...
I'll be awfully disappointed if I can't ever get those first eps on disc...

I don't remember if MPI has specifically mentioned releasing the pre-Barn episodes on DVD or not - but I'd be surprised if they don't. It's my understanding that they plan to issue the entire series on DVD.

Speaking to my site last month Jim Pierson said that the plan was to get the whole series out on DVD :)

Hey,
I believe they are going to release the rest of the series and after they are done with that, then they will release the pre-barnabas episodes. I really wished they would have just started with episode 1, with Set 1. It would have been a lot better, even though those episodes werent that popular, I would have much rather started buying the sets at episode 1 than Set 5 like I did. I dont want to get Barnabas's arrival until I have everything before that.

If you or anyone else is interested in more color options, there's a thread on the Testing 1,2,3 board that's currently at the top of page 5 called "Color Names and Custom Colors". Just scroll down through MB's main topic (the 1st post) to see a table of examples, and you can get an idea of how they look against the forum background too.
