Also, you might have noticed "Rouvrir" on yesterday's calendar? Well, go here (http://www.french-linguistics.co.uk/dictionary/), type it in the provided box, click on "Search", and check out the results. [winkg]

The members that did ask to be messaged (added to the notify list) were all sent emails last nite via the addys in their profiles. Except for Mark Rainey, who requested a massage instead, so I guess I owe him one now, eh?

There were a couple of other board topics too from which member names were gleaned, though the vast majority of the notify list consisted of potential members rather than standing members. This is because the only purpose of the notification email was to contact fans that had directly expressed an interest in joining or (in far fewer instances) to notify members that had asked about the reopening on behalf of another party that's interested in joining. Sorry for not being clear about that.

We haven't yet announced the reopening on other sites because individuals who were on the notify list are still registering and it's easier for us to help new members when we're not being inundated.

Grayson67, when I saw that name I figured you must be the one, with the real name of Melissa, who used to be on the SciFi Board and who wrote some good stories! In fact, there was a very exciting one involving Julia's niece, which I think was heading to a conclusion and never got finished!!! Welcome back!

(On the plus side, in the midst of doing a dozen other things, I've been working on rewriting it on and off for the past year, so maybe at some point it will see the light of day again).

This is a "Great" place by what I've seen so far. And I certainly am looking forword to conversing with fellow DS fans about dark shadows, and such.

For sometime now, I just like most have been going though DS withdraws "really baddly." But alas, now that it's back on I am very happy.

So, I just wanted to drop a line and let you know that it shall be a pleasure to be a cousin here. "Cool board!"
