I received an e-mail from Amazon today (and the e-mail states today only) I can buy the whole original series for 269.99

I bought the box set 8 days ago for $329.99! I just sent Amazon an email telling them I wanted a refund or comparable credit for future purchases. If they don't offer one or the other, maybe it's time I terminate my long-term Amazon loyalty. [hall2_angry] (All this after buying the entire series on VHS back in the early 90s, and then again on DVD in the 2000s.

Amazon gave me a "courtesy" refund of $60.00. I'm glad I saw the notice of the price drop here--and glad | stated my opinion about a refund. [hall2_wink]

I find that Amazon is pretty good about treating their customers quite fairly. I had a slip up with an order back in '11 that was completely their fault, and without me even asking for restitution, not only did they give me a copy of what I'd ordered for free, but they gave me $25 off of my next order. I certainly couldn't complain about any of that! [ghost_nowink]

New phone; went to Amazon. I H A T E my new phone. It lists the entire series as $350ish. BUT...I had recently posted about a 'viewers favs' type DVD; it's on Amazon right now for $5.00!!
This is the same price I posted when I bought it from Walmart.
