Title: Chloe Moretz at New York Comic Con
Post by: Uncle Roger on October 04, 2013, 08:12:59 PM
To promote the October release of Carrie, Chloe Morets will be at the New York Comic Con over the weekend of October 10-13. The con is a very popular event and tickets may only be available on the secondary market.
Photo ups with Chloe will set you back $90.00. Think that's pricey? It's downright cheap compared to the $445.00 it costs to have you picture taken with Sylvester Stallone.

I heard, Michael, that they wanted to cast Sly as Ezra Braithwaite in DS-12, but he was considered too old.   [hall2_grin]

MGM did something that movie studios haven't done for decades:  use a "stunt" to promote a movie.  This was not untypical, especially during the fifties.  I think it's great that MGM decided to have some fun promoting Carrie and it's gone "viral."  If you haven't seen it yet, because it's at the top of the list of "trendy" on newsites from Yahoo to MSN, here it is:

Yikes, I would've had a heart attack, lol.  I hope nobody did.  It's fun to look from afar, though.  Thanks Gerard, I'm not trendy so I hadn't seen this!

Any doubt that Chloe is the very epitome of cool, hip, smart and caring has vanished in the wake of the report that she was an attendee at this charity event for a very important cause:
