Hello fellow DS friends -

My mom passed away this morning, so I'll probably be on leave-of-absence from the board for awhile.  Everyone take care!

Mothers are special. I lost my Mom eight years ago and not a day goes by that I don't miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Gerard. Take care-

Sorry to hear about your mother Gerard.  My own passed away more than ten years ago, but I still think about her and wish she were here to share things with.  Please accept my deepest sympathy.

Gerard,

My deepest condolences on the loss of your mother.  I lost my father nearly twenty years ago.  I think of him every day.  You never stop missing a lost loved one, but the passage of time does help to lessen the terrible pain one experiences after a parent's death.

I am so sorry to hear about your Mom.  Mom's are
very special.

I lost my Dad almost 6 years ago and I miss him
still. However, I find a smile on my face when I
think that Dad is now with his Mom, Dad and 6
brothers that all went before him and that they
are all looking down and watching over me.

Gerard, if the condolences of a complete stranger can be of any comfort, please accept mine.

I lost my mother after a long slow illness....but that part doesn't stay with you....in the end, you remember the good times, the fun and the love.....may it be so for you.
