Now who did Daphne really mean would die, Carolyn or .. well I think she obviously meant Julia but i'm admittedly J-obsessed. . . ???

Hi Juila99 i can't remember who Daphine was
referring to now. I saw the whole episode
before but i'll have to refresh my memory.

I always felt the warning referred to Julia also...

So have I. I think she is trying to warn Barnabas that Julia is in peril.

I agree with what has been written, though there are a couple of possibilities...  It seems as if Daphne knows that Barnabas and Julia have the power to change what happened, which is why she is trying to help them.

Funny...for some reason, I thought it was some spirit (Gerard??) referring to Daphne.

I understood Daphne's little note to mean who ever was closest to Barnabas at that particular time... which of course would be Julia.

I took it to mean Julia also.  I felt that Daphne's ghost was giving Barnabas a warning since she probably knew how close the two of them were.

Same goes for me.  The ghosts can see that Barnabas and Julia are very close so I strongly felt that this warning was meant for Julia and Julia alone.

and is B being supremely dumb when he assumes Carolyn?  Julia is a "she" you dolt!

Or is it that Barnabas so firmly believes in Julia's strength and preserverance that he doesn't think she could be in peril .. although by this time she has been, twice?  Tommy's snacking episode and then the Jeb kidnapping?  Gerard is third and then  [spoiler]fourth is Angie/Valerie's use of the vampire Roxanne to snack some more on Julia. . .and get her away from Barnabas[/spoiler]
