Title: Joshua Collins: The Cat's Meow

Dear Fellow Dark Shadows Fans,

With the black and white coloring, "Joshua" looks like Felix the Cat.  However, since the cat still seems to display the Collins patriarch's grumpy and querulous demeanor, I think that "Joshua" more resembles the moody and languid Morris the Cat.

I wonder if Angelique cast her "cat spell" on some other Dark Shadows characters, which cats would she choose?  Here are a couple of my own suggestions:

Barnabas Collins- Courageous Cat, the feline super hero.

Laura Murdoch Collins - Irina, the alluring and "morphing" cat/lady from the flick, "Cat People."

Nicholas Blair - The Cheshire Cat, always with that unctuous smile.

Can you think of any other possible "cat spell" victims of Angelique?

  How about Quentin turned into "Top Cat"-perhaps many posters are too young to remember the cartoon series of the debonair alley cat and his friends? ::) :o :D

I'll give it a shot--

Both Vicki and Hello Kitty have that hair bow-coordinating-with-outift thing going on.

Willie could be turned into Riff Raff the criminal from Underdog.

Like Klondike Kat, Sheriff Patterson tenaciously pursues his mouse, er, man.

Shirley the Collinsport Inn waitress never got any lines, and neither did Shirley Feeney's Boo Boo Kitty...

You all crack me up with your Cat-characterizations!!
Unfortunately, in this house we're all violently allergic to cats....but I wonder if listening to endless howling dogs on DS had anything to do with my choice of dog....a very wolf-like Siberian?!

Vam,

          I love the reference to "Top Cat".  Could not agree more that he would be perrrrfect for Quention.  I guess I am old enough to remember that cartoon.  It was my favorite.  Did you know that it was taken from the show Sq. Bilko?  Just a bit of unimportant trivia.  Oh yes, I still remember the theme song.

Top Cat, Top, Cat must friends get to call him T.C......
