Thank you, Lydia and Midnite! I decided to do something DS-ish for my birthday. I'm in Maine. The state of Maine has a certain level of weirdness that is difficult to describe. The LL Bean Store is open 24/7 and has its own indoor trout pond.
Anyway, fun trip--without a single cheap, insufferable pig in sight.

Home of Stephen King, Bass weejuns, Tom's of Maine toothpaste and the only desert in the Northeast. I've been going up there most of my life. The Collins family would fit right in. Hell, they might not even be noticed

Sure thing, Magnus. It's known as The Desert of Maine. (Kind of a no frills, no nonsense name). It's located in Freeport, just down the road from LL Bean.
